Happy 8 March International Women’s Day

Today, March 8, is International Women’s Day. This special day, which was officially celebrated by the United Nations 47 years ago; aims to eliminate gender inequality and prejudices faced by women at home, at work and in society from past to present.

As Akar Textile; within the scope of our corporate culture and the Global Goals we follow, we do not allow prejudices with an inclusive and gender equality-based business approach, on the contrary, we always support and observe the female workforce in employment. Because we know very well that they can do much more than achieve when equal opportunities are offered to women who are the representatives of change.

As per a different theme every year, we show our stance against prejudices by crossing our arms. Especially the working women of Akar Textile; Happy 8 March International Women’s Day to all women!
