Akar Textile R&D Center Award Ceremony

Our R&D Center, which has achieved many successes in its R&D journey that started with 17 projects, came together at the 2020 Akar Textile R&D Center Award Ceremony. Successful R&D engineers were awarded at the award ceremony hosted by Hayrettin Akar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akar Textile and Nihal Fidan, Manager of the R&D Center.

The award evaluation, in which the performances are measured, is carried out in 7 different categories with the aim of encouraging personnel to R&D and design works. In addition to the ideas and projects initiated by the Project Board; works for which patent applications have been made and approved, articles published in national and international scientific publications, projects approved and supported by TÜBİTAK, and papers and article presentations in scientific events such as symposiums and conferences are among the award criteria. Employees deemed successful by the Project Board are awarded a certificate of achievement and a monetary award.

The award evaluation, in which the performances are measured, is carried out in 7 different categories with the aim of encouraging personnel to R&D and design works.

In addition to these; financial training support and technical support such as laboratory use are among the possibilities offered to all R&D personnel who start and continue their academic career.

Akar Textile Chairman of the Board Hayrettin Akar and R&D Center Manager Nihal Fidan, congratulating all R&D personnel for their successful work at the ceremony, gave success certificates to the R&D engineers deemed successful by the project board and wished them continued success.

Akar Textile R&D Center, which is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, in addition to increasing productivity in production; produces projects with a sustainable production approach.

Akar Textile R&D Center, which carries out its projects with a team of 50 people including R&D engineers and technical personnel; carries out its work in an independent area of ​​4 thousand 856 square meters in İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone.
