In the protocol initiated with the purpose of “employment and social adaptation”, foreigners under temporary protection and disadvantaged citizens are employed in contracted institutions and companies after being trained in the field of gastronomy.
After the 3-month program, which took place under the coordination of İŞKUR, successful candidates continue to work. Upon the professional experience gained, the food and beverage sector contributes to social adaptation as well as qualified employment. Ahmad (in the middle), who came to our country from Syria and made his dream of gastronomy come true through the “There is Hope in the Kitchen” project, will work in the kitchen of Akar Textile’s Izmir factory for 3 months as a cook apprentice. We welcome Ahmad to join Akar Textile, who wishes to develop himself especially in the industrial field, and wish him success in his professional life.
